The Bay Area Showcase Chorus is happy to announce its first ever Harmony Idol contest beginning with first round auditions, Wednesday, October 27th, and Saturday, October 30th. The second round will be held on Thursday evening, November 18th.

This contest is open to young singers ages 14 - 25, performing in vocal harmony groups of 2 to 8 people.

Three finalists, selected from the auditions, will compete on the chorus' December 12th holiday show, The Ultimate Game Show, at the Campbell Heritage Theater in Campbell. The contest winner will be determined by audience vote, and each finalist wins a monetary prize.

Deadline for contest entry is October 8, 2010 extended to October 15, 2010!
