2024 Bay Area Showcase Chorus - Regional Convention

2023 Bay Area Showcase Chorus - Regional Competition

In May 2023, Bay Area Showcase Chorus competed live and in person at the Sweet Adelines Region 12 competition in Reno, Nevada! We performed two songs: You Are My Sunshine and Wonderful Day/Good Day Medley. BASC came in second place!

2022 Bay Area Showcase Chorus - Regional Competition

In April 2022, Bay Area Showcase Chorus competed in our first Sweet Adelines Region 12 competition in three years! We recorded two songs (Smile and Wonderful Day/Good Day Medley) at our rehearsal facility for video evaluation by a panel of judges. BASC came in second place, with a score of 632!




2021 Bay Area Showcase Chorus - Holiday Show

In late November of 2021, we had a free holiday show, our first "friends and family show" in two years!! About 50 guests (all vaccinated, masked, and distanced) attended in person at our rehearsal venue in Milpitas, and more than 100 people watched on YouTube. We enjoyed singing a mix of non-holiday and Christmas songs. The audience was also treated to a set by Songstruck quartet. It was a very merry evening, with lots of sparkly Christmas decorations, poinsettias for door prizes, and a goody bag containing a cookie, cocoa mix, marshmallows, and a candy cane to enjoy at home.

2021 Bay Area Showcase Chorus - (I Might Just) Hold You a Little Too Long

This lovely tune perfectly captures the many feelings we've had during the COVID pandemic. Our chorus has stayed together and continued weekly rehearsals on Zoom since March 2020! We look forward to being together again in person.

We learned this fun song, by Donya Metzger, during the COVID shelter-in-place at our Zoom rehearsals. We could not be more proud of the final product! Special thanks to Jamie Osborne for managing this project.
