Shop with Raiseright (Gift Cards, Reloads & Coupons)
This is a program whereby chorus members and their family and friends can purchase merchant gift cards. The chorus treasury purchases the cards at a discount, and sells them at face value, thus retaining the discount. The program is open to members and their non-member family and friends.
The program is available on the internet (www.raiseright.com) or on a free mobile app (RaiseRight).
You need to enroll in the program, using BASC's special code. (Group ID). Members can obtain this code and detailed instructions by clicking on this link. Non-members can get the code by asking your member friend, or by sending an email to finance@singharmony.org.
When opening your account, consider signing up for the ACH option. This allows you to pay for scrip with a direct transfer from your bank checking account. Not only does this mean that you do not have to submit a physical check to pay for your purchase, but in some cases your desired items will be available to you immediately, no need to wait for any of the published scrip deadlines.
Once your account has been established, you can select your merchant(s) and order your gift cards in one of three forms:
- Physical Cards (cards or certificates that will be delivered to the BASC Scrip Chair),
- eGiftCards (formerly known as "ScripNow") (coupons that will be delivered to your computer),
- Physical Card Reload (you will enter the information for a card you already have in your possession).
eGiftCards and Reload items will be delivered to you immediately if you have signed up with your checking account as a payment option. Otherwise they will be delivered to you as soon as the accumulated order has been completed. This occurs approximately 3 days after the published scrip order deadline. Physical gift cards will be mailed to the Scrip Chair (currently Leslie Brunk).
If you need to make a payment and you choose to 'Pay the Coordinator directly' then you can mail your check to Leslie Brunk or to the Finance Coordinator, Chantal van Schooten. Or you can use your PayPal account to send money to the chorus PayPal account (finance@singharmony.org). (Please select the option to "send to a friend" so that no fees will be deducted.)
